Introduction
As of September 2026, the 2020 Title IX regulations are again officially operative nationwide. The U.S. Department of Education has formally removed the vacated 2024 regulations from the Code of Federal Regulations and restored the 2020 regulatory text. Please find materials relating to the 2020 regulations for higher ed institutions and K-12 schools subject to Title IX below. In addition, it is important for higher ed institutions to be mindful of their obligations under VAWA/Campus SaVE Act.
