On April 19, 2024, the Department of Education released final regulations related to Title IX that will govern how educational institutions conduct inquiries into allegations of sex discrimination, including student sexual misconduct and pregnancy discrimination. Following publication in the Federal Register, these regulations will take effect Aug. 1, 2024.
In the interim, consult with legal counsel to understand the impact of these new regulations on your institution’s policies or practices.
