Risk Advice

Whether you need a sounding board for a policy or procedure you’re revising or want to hear how other schools navigate a particular risk management issue, United Educators (UE) can help.

Ways We Can Help You

Risk advice is a service handled by UE’s in-house risk management professionals who take time to craft responses based on our knowledge of the issues facing education, our claims experience, and the education segment’s perspectives (such as your peers). This is not a service that is outsourced or handled by any auto-generated functions.

Contact our team for credible, personalized advice to help manage your campus’ risks — at no additional cost. Our risk management experts know the unique challenges that K-12 schools, colleges, and universities face, and are ready to help you. Here is a sampling of some of the many questions from your peers that we’ve addressed:

  • What safety practices should we consider for the mountain biking club that our students want to start?

  • How can we build a workplace harassment training strategy in a multi-lingual workplace?

  • What do we need to consider when approving a student organization’s request to offer henna tattoos for a holiday celebration?

  • What are some risks we should consider for a facilities use agreement for an upcoming alumni event?

  • How can our ERM team create effective risk mitigation plans for our top risks?
