United Educators Wins International E-Learning Award
Bethesda, Md., Oct. 17, 2023 — The International E-Learning Association awarded United Educators (UE) a gold ribbon in the E-Learning Experience category of the 2023 International E-Learning Awards.
UE’s online course “Targeted Campus Violence: Recognize the Warning Signs,” which teaches K-12 schools and higher ed institutions ways to help prevent attacks, received the honor. The course also recently received a Globee® Business Awards Gold Award.
“Helping institutions prevent violent attacks is of utmost importance,” said Sarah Braughler, Vice President of Risk Management. “Zeroing in on ways to disrupt targeted violence is one important way to help keep campuses safe.”
The International E-Learning Association, which seeks to advance e-learning at K-12 schools, colleges, and universities, provides awards for courses and software used in creating academic courses. It recognized UE in September 2023 during the International Conference on Interactive Collaborative Learning (ICL) in Madrid, Spain.
UE provides insurance coverage and risk management products and services, including online learning, available at no additional cost to UE members. And non-members can purchase select course collections.
