AM Best Awards A (Excellent) Rating to United Educators for 25th Consecutive Year
Bethesda, Md., July 25, 2023 — United Educators Insurance (UE), a reciprocal risk retention group serving K-12 schools, colleges, and universities, has received an A (Excellent) financial strength rating for the 25th consecutive year from AM Best.

AM Best noted UE’s “very strong” balance sheet and said UE’s business profile is favorable “due to a leading market position and diversification of risk by region and type of institution.” The credit rating affirmed UE’s appropriate enterprise risk management “with both quantitative and qualitative methods for risk monitoring.”
