Partnering With Praesidium for the Risk Management Premium Credit
For this year’s Risk Management Premium Credit (RMPC) program, your institution may complete a Praesidium Accreditation.
About Praesidium
Praesidium is a team of researchers, attorneys, social workers, human resource professionals, and other industry experts dedicated to creating safer environments for vulnerable populations. They have partnered with thousands of organizations to develop sustainable abuse prevention strategies that withstand real-world challenges. Praesidium helps organizations prevent sexual abuse and protect the vulnerable populations they serve.
How to Participate
To select the Praesidium Accreditation, go to your RMPC program Kickoff Form, choose Sexual Misconduct Against Minors and College Students, and then click the Praesidium option.
After you’ve scheduled the site visits for Accreditation, ask your Praesidium team for documentation that confirms this step has been completed for the RMPC program. We only need the documentation to award the credit. Your organization doesn’t need to upload the results.
Work directly with Praesidium on implementation. Accreditation can be a long process, so make sure you contact Praesidium early in your policy year. This will help ensure you meet the requirements for the RMPC program before the final program deadline.
How the Accreditation Works
Praesidium Accreditation is a structured, research-informed process that helps K-12 schools and higher education institutions embed abuse prevention into systems, culture, and daily operations. Learn more
