How the Risk Assessment Works
The assessment begins with a review of policies, procedures, websites, communications templates, and other process materials an institution uses in its response and resolution of reports of sexual harassment, sex discrimination, and for its compliance obligations with Title IX.
The assessment continues with conversations with institution-identified representatives who hold responsibility for implementing one or more parts of the response and resolution process. These include the Title IX Coordinator, investigators, hearing officers, appeal officers, and people who provide structured support to complainants and respondents, as well as those who understand how the institution’s policies and procedures are implemented.
Following the documentation review and interviews, Grand River Solutions will offer recommendations based on compliance and best practices.
