Hazing Prevention: What Campus Employees Should Know helps higher ed institutions broaden hazing prevention efforts beyond students and student-facing staff. It prepares employees to recognize, understand, and respond to hazing risks. The course uses scenario-based instruction to address both obvious and subtle forms of hazing behavior.
Judges praised the course’s strong instructional design, realistic scenarios, and practical value. One called it a “well-designed course addressing a meaningful institutional risk” and said its “scenario-based instruction and emphasis on nuances of hazing behaviors indicate high-level instruction design.” Another said the course “presents a strong and socially important response to a serious institutional risk” and praised its decision to make all campus employees part of the prevention framework.
