Rick Mills Elected to APCIA Board

Bethesda, Md., July 15, 2025 — United Educators (UE) President and CEO Richard “Rick” Mills has been named to the American Property Casualty Insurance Association’s (APCIA’s) Board of Directors.

APCIA is a national trade association that represents insurance companies that provide business, home and auto insurance.

“Serving on the APCIA Board is a meaningful opportunity to collaborate with industry leaders to advance education’s shared risk transfer goals. This role allows me to bring the voice of educational institutions to the broader insurance conversation,” Mills said.

Mills also serves on The Institutes’ Board of Trustees.
