United Educators Hazing Prevention Course Wins International E-Learning Award
Bethesda, Md., Oct. 6, 2026 — A United Educators (UE) hazing prevention course won a 2026 International E-Learning bronze award for Online Learning Experience.
The Hazing Prevention: What Campus Employees Should Know course is designed to help higher education employees identify hazing behaviors; recognize students who may be at risk; and take informed, proactive steps.
The 20-minute interactive module helps institutional leaders keep their communities safer and meet their responsibilities under federal and state laws, including the Stop Campus Hazing Act.
The International E-Learning Association seeks to advance e-learning at K-12 schools, colleges, and universities. It recognized UE in October 2026 during the International Conference on Interactive Collaborative Learning (ICL) in Cologne, Germany.
“Good training helps institutions recognize risks and act,” said Mike Butzgy, UE’s Manager of Learning Design. “This course gives employees practical steps to mitigate a persistent risk.”
