United Educators Receives AM Best A (Excellent) Rating for 23rd Consecutive Year
Bethesda, Md. — United Educators Insurance (UE), a reciprocal risk retention group serving K-12 schools, colleges, and universities, is proud to announce that it has received an A (Excellent) financial strength rating from AM Best for the 23rd consecutive year. UE also has had an a+ (Excellent) issuer credit rating since 2010.
AM Best reported that the ratings reflect UE’s very strong balance sheet, adequate operating performance, and appropriate risk management practices. They stated that UE’s business profile is “favorable due to a strong market position and diversification of risk by region and type of institution.” In addition, the rating reflects UE’s “dual risk management approach with both quantitative and qualitative methods for risk management.”
