Search Tips The search box allows you to scan within the entire library for every appearance of a particular word or phrase. To use the search box, here are tips for designing your query. You may use the operators 'and', 'or', and 'not' to extend your search. The AND operator is used to search for multiple terms in the same document, for example: red and dog will return only documents containing both the words 'red' and 'dog'. The OR operator is used to search for documents with either of the terms, for example: red or dog will return all documents with the word 'red' as well as all documents with the word 'dog'. The NOT operator is used to exclude documents that contain a term, for example: red and not dog will return all documents with the word 'red' with the exception of any that also contain the word 'dog'. Additionally, you may enclose any group of words within quotes to treat them as a phrase, for example: "red dog" will return all documents with the word 'red' followed immediately by the word 'dog'.
