Crisis Communications Coverage

Why Crisis Communications?

There are certain crisis that require dedicated public relations assistance even for well-managed educational institutions. In a time of crisis, expert guidance can be invaluable in helping to protect your institution's reputation while you focus on recovery and managing the physical and legal aspects of the crisis. For members with both primary general liability (CGL) and educators legal liability (ELL) coverage with United Educators, we have added Crisis Communciations Coverage at no additional charge.

At United Educators, we believe that the best claim is the one that never occurs. Often, a proactive approach to a crisis will save the institution from unnecessary damage to your reputation. When you need expert communications guidance to help you through difficult times, take advantage of this benefit. This supplementary benefit provides up to $50,000 in public relations expenses for events that could cause material damage to your institution's reputation. Application of this benefit does not have to be tied to a liability occurrence or wrongful act by the institution.
