UE’s primary general liability policy insures the institution, its trustees, directors, officers and employees (at the option of the educational institution) against liability arising out of bodily injury, personal injury, and third-party property damage occurring because of wrongful or negligent acts attributable to the institution.  Its broad coverage protects against a wide range of potential claims, including but not limited to athletics, alcohol, international studies, campus crime, security guards, transportation of students, sexual molestation and other sexual misconduct. The policy automatically incorporates coverage for unarmed campus security, allied health exposures, and more. UE offers $1 million primary coverage per occurrence, with higher limits (up to $25 million) available under umbrella and excess policies.
