However, cooperating employers are increasingly requiring "hold-harmless agreements" or other forms of insurance and indeminification if a claim arises while students are on the job.

UE developed the experiential student policy (ESP) as a solution for educational organizations. This special policy will protect your students against liability claims and will facilitate employers' willingness to provide internships, cooperative education programs, field studies, work-study programs or other similar courses.

The ESP policy is written with no deductible or retention. It can cover students in almost any internship program that provides academic credit for internships and experiential programs from acting to zoology.
