UE’s comprehensive Educators Legal Liability (“ELL”) policy provides coverage for the institution, its trustees, directors, officers, employees, (at the institution’s option), volunteer workers (at the institution’s option), and, in some circumstances, students and interns (again at the institution’s option).  Its broad wrongful acts coverage protects against a wide range of potential claims involving educational institutions, including but not limited to employment practices, discrimination, sexual harassment, tenure denial, retaliation, whistleblower charges, violation of intellectual property rights, violation of fiduciary duties, violation of many statutory obligations, and educational malpractice.  The ELL policy provides limits up to $25 million. ERISA/Employee Benefits are offered by endorsement, with limits up to $10 million.
